Organizational Structure and Funding

The Miami Valley Fair Housing Center (MVFHC) is a private, non-profit corporation, organized under the laws of the State of Ohio, and designated by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. MVFHC is governed by a volunteer board of directors and is supported in part by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. MVFHC also receives financial support from Montgomery County, Ohio; the City of Kettering, Ohio; The City of Dayton, Ohio; and The City of Springfield, Ohio; through their Community Development Block Grant funds.

The full Board of Trustees meets every other month on the second Tuesday of each month. All meetings of the full Board will be held in MVFHC’s Conference Room, 21-23 East Babbitt Street, Dayton, Ohio, unless other notice is given.
