The Miami Valley Fair Housing Center and the African American Visual Artists Guild present the Chicago Freedom Movement Exhibit

Photographer Bernard Kleina’s 1965-66 color images of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Coretta Scott King, civil rights leaders, and demonstrators marching for “Open Housing,” the forerunner of Fair Housing. The Fair Housing Act was signed into law on April 11, 1968, one week after the assassination of Dr. King. April is Fair Housing month. Both Receptions honor these historic events and include a presentation about the artist and Dr. King.
The exhibit runs through May 3, 2024. Bring your family & friends! Enjoy food, art, history and learn about Dr. King’s efforts to combat housing discrimination then and now. Galley Hours
